Description: Charter President Dave Mason and District Governor Carol LaRue were all smiles as Rotarians from across District 6780 joined the nearly 30 members of the newest club in East Tennessee for their charter night Sept. 22. A dozen Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotarians were on hand for the celebration.

About 75 Rotarians from across District 6780 and their guests attended the charter night ceremonies. Charter President Dave Mason shares the steps taken to charter the new club. New member Jon Carlberg talks with PDG Jim Devlin about choosing Rotary. Past RI VP Bill Sergeant, a member of The Oak Ridge Rotary Club, talked about the history of Rotary in Oak Ridge. Historian Bill Wilcox talked about the work Oak Ridge Rotary clubs have done locally and internationally.
