Oak Ridge Sunset Rotary Club Charter Night |

Charter President Dave Mason and District Governor Carol LaRue were all smiles as Rotarians from across District 6780 joined the nearly 30 members of the newest club in East Tennessee for their charter night Sept. 22. A dozen Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotarians were on hand for the celebration. |

In Feb 2011 the Oak Ridge Sunset Rotary Club presented its 2nd annual Science Fair for 3rd-5th graders:
• 101 student projects
• Projects were divided into 3 divisions per grade
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners from each division were given savings bonds and gift cards. Teachers of 1st place winners were given $100 for supplies
• Grand prizes were a trip to the Space Camp (1st), a Laptop (2nd), and a Netbook (3rd)
• 400 people attended the awards ceremony. Students attending got a scientific door prize. |
